Meet Gina & Chris Sullivan, Owners & Operators of Sullivan House Senior Living in Marietta, GA

There comes a time in life where the nest is empty and you begin to close one chapter of life, and enter another.  That’s exactly what Gina and Chris Sullivan are doing, closing one and opening the next.  Gina retired from Cobb County School System in 2013.  She spent her career inspiring the minds of young children, helping them grow, and loving the families along the way.  Chris has been a General Contractor for 40 years, and continues to build and renovate residences/businesses across Cobb County, as well as Greater Atlanta.  After Gina retired, both she and Chris began to feel a pull at their heart to build a business in their community – to plant a seed for their next chapter, while serving others.  After careful prayer and consideration and a couple years later, the idea of caring for seniors fell into their lap.  They knew when they crossed paths with this idea, it was “their next chapter.”

For months, they brainstormed how their home would be different and how they would set the standard for elder care.  When you walk into Sullivan House, Gina and Chris want you to immediately experience a place you can call home.  They want to provide an environment where fresh baked cookies and a glass of milk give comfort to a lazy afternoon.  The rockers on the back porch overlook a private pond that lends itself to a great morning view, where birds chirp and squirrels scamper.  Gina and Chris would love for you to join them for afternoon tea and the daily newspaper around the kitchen counter.

Gina and Chris want to provide for the seniors at Sullivan House, what they provided for their own family for many years– a safe place to live and grow, an engaging environment, a place where laughs are common, a place where you can drop your shoes at the front door and hang out for a while in the kitchen, a place where you can kick back in your recliner and read your favorite book, a place where everyone knows your name….. a place that the elders of our community can call home.
